Have you ever had a problem trying to shed some pounds? Have you spent a lot of time and money trying to find out what plans work and what don't? It seems like everybody these days are trying to drop some pounds around the waste line, but they are struggling with the how to, more than want to.

I remember when I was fighting the bulge and how hard it was to staying committed and working on the weight everyday. Unfortunately, most people give up and decide to do nothing about it, simply because they are not sure as to what to do.

I decided to include a brief, but informative plan, below, that I used in my day to day run in with dropping fat. These steps may not work for everyone, but they done wonders for me. Before starting any kind of plan to drop fat, make sure to check with your family doctor first to see if you are healthy enough to pursue this goal.

Step 1

Never ever skip breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it jumpstarts the metabolism. Studies have shown that most people that were obese often times skipped breakfast altogether.


Step 2

Try and eat 5 to 7 small meals, everyday. When you eat small meals daily you will keep your metabolism in hyper drive. Also you will feel full on a regular basis, which will keep you from over eating and engorging yourself in foods that you shouldn't be eating.

Make sure your meals consist of fruits and vegetables. Also try and not eat any meats that are high in fat. Eat more lean meats like chicken, turkey, and fish.

Step 3

Do full body workouts at least 3 times a week. Workouts that use the entire body only take about 15 to 20 minutes to do, so you're not killing yourself with hours upon hours at the gym and smelly lockers. Not to say that gyms are bad, I just want to give you a way to workout faster.

Step 4

Try to stay away from the scales. The scales can sometimes cause you to quit pursuing your weight loss goals because the scales say something that you don't like. Pay more attention to how your clothes fit and your measurements. Often times we start working out and cut back on our foods, but when we get on the scales they say we weigh more. Why? The reason is because muscle weighs more than fat, so stay away from the scales.


Though there are many more techniques that I used to drop a lot of weight, this is a good basis to start with. Just be sure to follow them daily and you will win the battle of the bulge.
